There are many volunteer efforts available at the Columbine Memorial.
This is a wonderful service opportunity for service groups and youth organizations to be involved in the community. The active support and generosity of our community helps keep the Memorial a beautiful place of remembrance and peace for those who visit each year.
Basic clean-up and maintenance of the Memorial is done solely through volunteer efforts. Basic clean up includes sweeping, trash pick-up, and wiping down the engraved stones on the Wall of Healing and the Ring of Remembrance.
During the spring, summer and fall seasons, maintenance efforts are expanded to include weeding of all the plant beds, spraying weeds, removing faded flowers from the perennials, weed whacking, rose bush pruning as well as the above clean up efforts.
If your group is interested in volunteering at the Memorial, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator at info@columbinememorial.org.
